I can’t be the only one who notices that that spell effect looks nothing like the class and awesomeness other air moves get. It seems like beta art that never got finished.

I can’t be the only one who notices that that spell effect looks nothing like the class and awesomeness other air moves get. It seems like beta art that never got finished.

In the beta, Arc Lightning didn’t really have much of a graphic at all. The target just sparked while you aimed your hands at them. No line of searing electricity or anything. I imagine it was changed because in a PvP environment, you wouldn’t be able to tell where the attacker was shocking you from.

Heh, personally I think it looks a lot better than slow-moving Chain Lightning.

I like it because you can direct your allies to one specific target without having to be in a party and manually select the target. Having a giant line of lightning coming from your hand to a target is pretty obvious enough of a sign to allies to attack that target.

I like the concept. I wikitten would deal top damage every tick instead of building up though. The target could dodge roll out of it to break the beam causing a cooldown for however much time you had left in the channel. If that’s OP then maybe just speed up the rate of the ticks so they hit faster. I do like the animation.
