Overall im a huge Scepter fan on Ele…But every auto atk regardless of attunement is very very lacking.

Fire- Has basically no base dmg and only causes a burning effect: This is horrible vs destructable objects such as turrets and negates its own dmg after the first atk (since burns cant stack.

-Suggestions, Could Scepter’s Auto atk be turned into something more like Staves, but with a faster atk speed- No aoe capability- and of course slightly lower dmg?

Water: this one seems alright overall, dmg-speed- animation seems decent enough for a support build

Lighting: BUGGY! omg lol…but I wont talk too much on this, I’m sure its been reported already about the auto atk bugging out…other then that works well enough but again horrible for objects

Earth: between the slow atk speed and animation this auto atk is near useless…the bleed effect is nice but lack of being able to actively stack bleeds effectively means for the most part you wont ever use the auto atk function

Suggestion, Edit the animation delay which in turn would slightly increase atks per second, imo this would make it a more viable atk for condition ele’s

TL;DR, Complete rework on Fire Scepter auto atk 1 skill, Slighty edit on Earth Scepter auto atk 1 skill via less animation downtime between atks

Earth has a great auto attack animation, and provides great DPS through bleed stacks.

Just feels too slow with the atk speed + animation imo…Honestly I’d be more then fine with just the Fire attunement auto atk on scepter being changed, but this just felt slow to me (others may and will find it to be perfectly in balance)…Fire just feels out of place…its basically just a Burn on a weapon that already comes with other ways to cause a burn effect

Earth is Scepter’s best auto-attack hands down. It does the most damage, counts as a channeled skill (for Earth’s Focus), and counts as a projectile finisher to boot. The only drawback is that it sucks against objects.

The problem with Fire’s auto-attack is that you can apply burn all day long even without the auto-attack. It tries so hard to be like Earth’s auto-attack, but it uses a condition that stacks duration rather than intensity that is also commonly available, and it doesn’t have a finisher attached to it. It’s outright awful, probably the worst auto-attack in the game.

Fire’s auto attack needs more up front damage, faster cast time, and greatly reduced burn duration. Possibly a small aoe similar to the staff’s fire attack but let’s cross one bridge at a time.

Air does great damage with a scepter, currently it is far too reliant on #2 for damage though. Getting the -20% for air skills boosts your scepter air damage faaarrr too much. Air’s auto attack (other than a bug fix) needs a slight buff, and in return nerf the #2. Doing so opens more options.

Water’s auto attack is decent at best, but has nothing to follow it up. I personally try to DPS with water scepter (silly me,) but beyond conjured weapons it is difficult. Either buff water’s auto attack, FIX SHATTERSTONE, or make #3 a blast finisher (the heal.)

Earth is by far the best element if you prefer the scepter. It has great defence, great damage through bleed stacking, and great utility. Aoe blind, auto attack as a finisher, multiple armor buffs, auto attack is channeled, and both offhand choices have the best offhand abilities.

tldr: Everything but earth needs help.

Yes, as others have said the Earth autoattack is good as-is and is much better than the other 3 elements. Fire needs a substantial boost in upfront damage, while Water and Air are functional but could use slight boosts.
