Alright so I’m not looking to change the fundamental essence of my build, but advice on some slight tweaks here and there to optimize the build would be much appreciated. I pretty much made this build from scratch and it has been wonderful for me so far, but I do honestly feel like I could get a bit more out of it.

This build I use for everything but I mostly want advice for Fractals/Dungeons I’d say. So after looking at the build you’ll notice a few things about it. It keeps regeneration on me literally all the time pretty much, and applies it to allies fairly often, and every time it does it removes a condition from myself/allies. It has solid damage and fairly good critical chance/damage plus easy access to fury very often (I switch in and out of attunements a LOT during combat to keep buffing myself and allies). I also have vigor most of the time and recharge endurance faster with my scepter so I can dodge far far more than normal. So yeah overall it is a very Hybrid build that I feel is solid all around or at least that’s what I’m going for. I know from experience the build is solid since I am very often the last one alive in a Fractal and even able to finish a fight alone.

The things I would absolutely love advice on are what Sigils do you think would be best? Also should I stick with Berserker weapons and jewelry or should I use Celestial on those as well? If you think a trait change might help make suggestions. I may change a trait or two on good advice but I will most likely not change much there.

Its on of the two best build of the PvE Elementalist.

Which raises the question: which one is the third?

No offense but as I said above. I am very comfortable as an Elementalist and my build and I am not in need of a full build. I just want tweaks from someone with experience. I have 0 interest in builds for throwing stupid amounts of damage out. I want the build I already have, a hybrid, solid damage output, high survivability build.

I think he was -in a polite way- trying to tell you that your build doesn’t really fit into what’s going on in GW2 PvE at the moment. If you took a little time to read the links provided you would see why!

Also you cannot expect to post a build in a public forum and not have it torn to shreds.

Well considering I have been using it in Fractals as of last night I think I’m doing quite well. Like I already said above I am frequently the last person alive in a group if things are going badly and I can still finish much of the time. I did read the links, and the build is of no interest to me. It is completely out of my play style and would do more harm than good overall.

As far as it being torn to shreds, I didn’t ask for an actual analysis of my build and why it is good or bad. All I asked for, which I was pretty clear on, is tweaks and good sigils, possible gear changes and the like. While I realize it is the nature of forums, there is no point in replying to my thread with irrelevant suggestions.

That’s a trap I won’t answer that one

No offence taken, you ask for ppl to comment on your build, expect to heard that your build is bad. It have bad dmg and high survivability. If you want some little advice to help you here it is.

S/F in PvE is all about might stacking. Its an horrible weapon for dmg other than his might stacking burst dmg rotation. In between you should use Lightning Hammer. So my suggestion is to replace gylph of renewal for Lightning Hammer and use it between might rotation.

Another option is to change your weapons. Best option would be Staff or D/F, the one you prefer.

Her some small tweaks to your build to improve it, because like I said S/F is an awesome weapons set for small burst dmg/might stacking rotation, but then he other nothing in between those rotation.

Sigil of Life and Sigil of Renewal.

@Zelyhn: D/F is best, Staff is second best, S/F hammer is third best rated on versatility and effective damage in diffcult encounters.
