SO ive been playing around with water a lot and it might just be me but whenever i walk closer to a test dummy, it seems that i am actually autoing faster then i am if i stand at 900 ranged. it could be that the sound is messing me up and fooling me but anyone else see it?

Could be true. Mesmer scepter starts its next attack when the last hits making it do more dps the closer you get.
