Anet can we buff/change this? It’s almost impossible to land and I get like 2.2k hits with it. If you don’t want it to be a DPS skill then give it some support. Just a bad damage skill is pointless and it’s better to use the autoattack, which is sad.

You’re wrong. Shatterstone is fine. 2.2k is a lot of damage and it can’t get reflected like water auto, it applies vuln unlike water auto, and it’s a good aoe unlike water auto.

I’m not wrong, it’s an opinion. I’d love to see you hit something other than a downed body with Shatterstone, it’s slow and small. People often joke and complain about this skill because it’s weak and doesn’t fit into a FA ele build very well. Phantaram described using Shatterstone as “Sometimes it’s the difference between doing nothing and pressing a button instead.?” It’s really UP and I fail to see what you gain by pretending it’s perfectly fine.

I wouldn’t even put shatterstone in bottom 5 of all scepter skills.

Don’t get me wrong, it makes for top quality memes, but it’s really not that bad anymore. You can no longer move out of it without dodging, and it’s decent damage.

If anything, phoenix feels very outdated since all the scepter buffs happened. Compared to say, JI true shot, precision strike equilibrium, steal pulm autos, it feels quite underwhelming.

Best skill in the game! Scepter is a condi dmg wepon and as long as ele is locked into only burning in fire and bleed in earth (and nothing else for some reason) ele will never be a condi dmg class. Scepter is good burst dmg but its less that the burst is coming form the scepter but more on the lines that scepter is the best ranged wepon for that type of play.
There a lot wrong with scepter shatterstone at least has a soso hit on it. I would not mind seeing it have a torment on it (i realty think water / ice should be the torment atument as well as air being the confusion atument).

Shatterstone is not almost impossible to land, you must simply aim it to where the target is going, not where the target is. It’s also amazing when LoSing seeing as it’s a cheap AoE.
