So after the patch it looks like we have some hard choices to make.

We won’t be able to get bloodlust stacks and then swap out the stacking weapon and keep the stacks.

But, we’ll be able to run 2 on weapon swap sigils and have them both proc (assuming they’re different sigils).

So i’m thinking Sigil of Battle might be better than Sigil of Bloodlust, as long as you can reliably get 8 stacks of might (280 power) in the first few seconds of the fight.

Thoughts?

Both would be the best but if forced to chose is go with battle the condition damage puts it in battles favor

agreed…but the issue now is that we will be forced to choose. if we want bloodlust stacks, we’ll have to commit to that, instead of just swapping out after we hit 25.

and with different on-swap sigils being viable, something like battle/hydromancy might be better than battle/bloodlust, or bloodlust/hydromancy, etc.

Taking into account condition damage, 6 stacks of might should be enough to tie with a fully-charged bloodlust, and you can get that amount in 9 seconds, without having to worry about dying.

And Sigil of Battle is certainly better when coupled with the new runes of strength.

Yeah I’d definitely go with Battle, with possibly Energy for EA or Fire/Air for damaging procs if you want to dish out damage.
One I’ve toyed with, and am interested in seeing the new version of, is Doom. 50% poison uptime (more if you have any +condi duration) is pretty powerful heal reduction, and could really help us against Warriors with their currently stupid sustain, and what will still be very powerful passive regen.

I tried might stacks without boon duration and could barely keep 5. For the build I’m testing id rather get bloodlust

Hmmm been wondering about this myself for sometime, perhaps you guys could give me some advice;
I run 2 main builds – d/d and staff zerk.
d/d ele I think will either be running force/battle or bloodlust/battle ( have both so I will be doing comparisons).

However with zerker staff you wont be switching as much or have much in the way of boon duration so the sigil of battle is null and void.
So my main question is do I run force/fire, force/bloodlust or bloodlust/fire for staff?

Lastly has it been confirmed that you can’t stack using underwater weapons and use said stacks whilst fighting on land?
