Sigils Needed to be More Clear
Use the trusted Bloodlust into Force combination. Personally, I’m not a fan of Energy over Battle, but if you wish:
Up to 25 stacks: Bloodlust + Energy
At 25 stacks: Force + Energy
And yes, the game could be a lot clearer, but you should research things like that before you buy them. It’s all been pretty much figured out and there are posts all over the place concerning it.
As for Energy vs Battle, I find Battle is a much better ‘fit’ for me. I already have perma-Vigor from Renewing Stamina and Battle will provide me with a considerable damage boost without me having to micro-manage it. With Energy I would be worried about wasting Endurance Regen because I’d be close to full all the time, whereas the Battle Sigil is more of a passive Boost in combat that you don’t need to worry about at all. It’s awesome free damage which works really well with Boon Duration.
I do see the appeal of swapping attunement and getting an instant dodge roll, but it’s just not for me.

Yeah but even with the vigor it’s not to my liking i love how i dodge almost 30% of the fight and really i love keeping an eye on the endurance bar, but thanks for the advice.
So just to be sure you are telling me to keep 3 daggers which i will swap to force dagger after i get 25 stacks with bloodlust right?

Aaah thanks, I’m glad that you led me to some other money sink operation!
Just kidding was thinking about it for some time now and since now i know i’m not the only one i think i’ll buy me some sigils and dagger. Thanks..
P.S I’m still mad at the game tho.
You have every right to be. The tooltips are very bad and could do a far better job of explaining things. It’s a shame because people say the tooltips in GW 1 were very good compared to their GW 2 counterpart.
If it makes you feel any better, I have 5 Daggers, 2 Scepters, 3 Staffs and 2 Focuses with different Sigils!

LOL, you have a lot of weapons. But I agree. tooltips should state that proccing sigils don’t stack, or sigils on swap don’t stack, or share the same global CD of some sort. I, too, was once a victim of this heinous crime.
later. It doesn’t care that I’m there.”
At least all you did was waste money on one sigil and now you know.
Some people play for months with improperly stacking sigils equipped and argue with people about it.
I agree that sigils need to be more clear. It is so hard to be sure of what stacks and what doesn’t when planning 1h weapons. The main ones I found that conflict are Critical and Weapon Swap. Sadly those are the two most useful for my ele >.<
Both the sigil of battle and energy have 9 sec cooldown. Also “a single cooldown is shared by all sigils. While the cooldown is active, no other sigil with a cooldown can have any effect.”

It’s even worse.. Because there is no warning in the discription of Battle Sigil that it has in fact CD. But I know there is, because you can’t get insta 9 stacks of might with attunement shift with ele.. Just ridiculous.
Battle has an internal undisplayed cd of around 9 sec as well. Also if you have 2 weapon swap sigils only 1 will work as NO sigil that has an active effect will work while another is on cd. So you can’t stack on Crit as well as on Swap (unless you get the low cd ones and they luckily don’t go on cd as you swap)
