Signet of Earth Bug??
Alot of traits work like this, for instance, thief trait that increases health based on precision, does not go up when you equip a precision signet or even precision stacks from weapon sigil. Likely not a bug, just how those traits work
Kinda strange programming if you ask me. Why wouldn’t a spell that increases your toughness not also work for other stuff which is calculated based on toughness? I don’t think that this is intended.

Maybe because that could create infinite loops if you’re not careful. If you have say a sharpening stone and a conversion from power to toughness in traits you’d have to infinitely recalculate your bonuses.
So far as I can tell, those calculations follow a set order of base stats→traits→in-combat stat boosts (like Empower Allies)/utility skills→consumables→Might. Consumables may be moved up once, need to test more carefully.
I posted about this bug in the bug reports forum a few months ago…it got no attention and quickly got buried.

Well ye I have seen him be4 in engi forums. Tot crazy about this talk. Like it makes a difference if hes first NA engi or whatever or has no special accomplishment (like most of is)
Next to that, I just found it rather useless to tell us
Did you only look at the hero panel or did you test it on some mobs/golems in the mists?
As far as i know there is a hero panel bug that causes traits/signets etc not to show stat changes in the hero panal, but in reality they work just fine.
