The blast finishers shouldn’t ALL have been removed. And I for one, do care.
What I really don’t get is why they a the very least didn’t separate the ea changes between PvE and PvP like they did so many others this patch. In PvP game balance obviously becomes quite a bit more important, but PvE is supposed to be all about having fun. It really makes no sense whatsoever to remove it from PvE. If you’re going to kill off a play style, at least let it live on in some form in an environment where balance isn’t nearly as important. It was definitely powerful as hell in PvP but that didn’t warrant basically killing the thing.

magnetic grasp as well as ride the lightning work really bad against moving target… the result is that mostly they lock u in the animation (that could go on for 2 or 3 second in worst case scenario) while u’r unable to do anything… this is suposed to be fixed with this patch but no actual change was noticed (or if a change was there it reduced the chance for the malfunction by a so little margin than most users missed the chance to notice it…)

That’s a common knowledge. But he said grasping earth not magnetic grasp. So either he made a mistake/typo or there’s something wrong with grapsing earth I’m not aware yet.

I agree they should revert the magnetic grasp changes. They’ll probably just remove the leap finisher and act like it was never intended though.
Good work on RTL. But you did more harm than good on magnetic grasp and should just revert it.
RTL is sorta fixed, if it doesn’t track the play you just go full distance away, thats what I have noticed anyway. Still much better.

I also never see the Fire Shield icon appear where my boons are (although that does appear when I get Fire Shield from Signets through traits). All I get from this combo is a useless popup and sometimes a nice Fire Shield animation without it having any effect… Can’t imagine this is intended because it does say you should have a Fire Aura when using MG, still I couldn’t find a Anet response to this “bug” so far.

Yep, trying to bring the attention back to this bug. You say yourself that the threads (so the bug aswell) are about 20 days old now and so far no response. Really want to test my build, but that depends on this combo and so far I don’t even know if I will ever be able to use it, because it’s not yet an acknowledged bug. So my Ele is pretty much on hold atm.
