Something struck me as odd.
That doesn’t seem odd to me. An elementalist who conjures fire would have no need for a torch.

lol, funny. Real funny. Wipes away tears.
I was thinking more along the lines of being able to enhance the fire of the torch like pyro from x-men can do.
Having the ability to alter a subtle flame into a roaring inferno would be cool.
But mesmer (a cloth class) can shoot laser beams from their giant swords!
Well our giant sword only shoots fiery stuff and that isn’t very cool, imo.

How would the other 3 attunements work with a torch?
^ I have trouble believing they could pull off water attunement torch skills.

I think it’d just end up steam based or boiling water.
Or the flame goes blue…
Or, I just want a torch.
How about a torch mainhand instead of an offhand?

But Pyro couldn’t create the flame, we can So he can just cry in the corner while we spit, throw, project, let burst and do other stuff to the fire we made

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I always thought that if they introduced more weapon options, torch offhand and sword mainhand would fit best.
I’d like torch to be a good ranged offensive complement to the scepter, since OH dagger is a mixed bag and the focus is very defensive.
It doesn’t overlap with any of the conjures (i.e. axe, bow, hammer, shield and greatsword) too.
Well, I would like to have a P/P set on Ele, would be interesting to shoot 4 different types of projectiles based on attunement And it will be nice 900 range DPS option for us I guess.
But first, I would like to see bugs fixed, that’s #1 priority for me.
