Hey there! I’ve decided I’m going to come back and starting playing again, except I want to roll with a different character. I’ve been looking at the elementalist (specifically the D/D builds) and was wondering how strong they are right now?

I’m highly interested in Pvp so I wanna know how strong they are in that regard? Please give me insight as to how they will be when the newest patch is suppose to hit to. I just don’t want to roll with a class and then they are extremely weak.

Currently, elementalists are really poor at sPvP, to the extent that none are brought to high-level competitions. However, Dec. 10’s patch is promised to entail a large number of balance changes, so that could change a month from now.

I think the patch won’t change much. There are some nerfs to other classes but also buffs and ele itself is recieving nerfs again (though in addition to some buffs). But like said, I don’t think that the current situation will improve much … let’s wait and see.

My dream class- Ele with everything it has plus- Mortar elite skill and RTL un-nerfed version. I think we will never get one side of my dream class, but the other side has a possibility of happening. And yes, I’m saying that mortar is that possibility.

Do you mean like Meteor Shower, or like the Engineer’s elite?

This was the hardest profession for me to level but the most fun.
