Take toughness out of earth and put condition duration in it’s place from fire.

I think this would create better builds for us because fire line fails, outside of extreme zerker spec, and condition ele fails because of the lack of condition uptime (leaving us way behind on other classes condi builds). The extra condition duration on burning still doesn’t last long with staff ele because we use fire/air in the builds, not fire/earth because seeing someone get hit for 10k on a meteor shower trumps 20 people getting a tick of 300 damage for 5s max.

You could be zerker staff ele without the 900 toughness.
You could be a condi d/d ele with longer cripples and immobilizes that are required for churning earth to land, or dragon tooth for s/x.

I feel we are left out on the joys of condition builds that other classes have unlocked. If I could maintain longer burns, bleeds, and even blind as d/d, I would be loving spvp a lot more. I think everyone would. We lost our mobility and some healing, and condi clear from mist form. Let us have a taste of de-stealthing thieves, and slowing warriors. Leave our arch-nemesis the necromancer, not everything on the field.

Getting two major attributes (power, precision, vitality, toughness and the class-specific attribute) on one trait line will never happen.

I can’t wait until ANet releases the game promoted in the manifesto.
Until that, I’ll play GW2.
