Suggestion in a nutshell: condense the weapon into a single skill, inheriting the best effects from the skillbar replacement while also keeping a relevant cooldown.

Conjure Flame Axe
Recharge: 30s; Casting: ½s
Description: Conjures a flaming axe from the skies that explodes upon landing on target area, burning enemies and creating a ring of fire.

Conjure Ice Bow
Recharge: 50s; Casting: ½s
Description: Conjures an ice bow that launches a frozen arrow at your foe freezing them, then unleashes chilling winds around the target.

Conjure Lightning Hammer
Recharge: 40s; Casting: 1s
Description: Conjures a lightning hammer that electrifies nearby allies granting them Precise Strikes, then follows the caster while shooting lightning bolts.

  • Precise Strikes: Your next two attacks will deal critical damage.

Conjure Earth Shield
Recharge: 30s; Casting: 1s
Description: Conjures an earth shield enveloping the player in a magnetically-infused shield that applies protection on the first few hits taken. After absorbing every hit the shield will break and spread protection around.

Conjure Fiery Greatsword
Recharge: 90s; Casting: 1½s
Description: Conjures a fiery greatsword that swirls around the caster, pulsing burning, and granting fury to the nearby allies every few seconds. Explodes before disappearing, dealing damage to the nearby foes.

Cough cough once could argue the new Fiery Greatsword is a shameless attempt at giving a condi-oriented elite skill to the ele… and they would be right.

No need to totally make it over. Basically they are a good idea…

Make conjures elemtalist only.
When conjured elementalist gains the conjured weapon without charges and elemental swaping gets disabled.
Lasts till droped, which gives back ele swaping.

Then change conjurer to give with a 20% CD reduction instead of charges.

I love the conjured weapons as they are, I’d just like to see them buffed to be viable. I’d be fine if they decided to do that for the next elite spec, so that we have a Conjurer spec which buffs the conjured weapons.

Adding a stunbreak to conjure earth shield would go a long way.

Restoring lightning hammer’s status as a very niche #1 melee dps weapon isn’t too far fetched. Its main competitor lightning whip has been buffed substantially since the time lightning hammer was a thing. I’d say buff dps. LH builds were neat. Especially in synergy with a mesmer, which has no decent melee autoattack by itself.

Ice bow is arguably still a thing. Personally I’d love to have the old damage back in pvp, since it’s one of the very few things that brought glass ele close to viable back in the shoutbow days.

Earth shield is pretty well rounded and has some cool uses. Add a stun break and we gucci.

Fire axe I have no idea. It’s to conjures what signet of water is to signets. Just terrible imo.

Fiery greatsword is bae. Even though its mobility got cut severely in the mobility patch and the fgs 4 nerf, it’s still incredibly fast. Seriously I love this thing. If anything, take a look at the monstrous aftercast on #5. It’s a dps gain to dodge out of the aftercast, since it’s a full second, whereas dodging is 3/4ths.

-All Conjures should have 1/4 second cast time, except for Earth Shield, which should be instant cast. Aftercasts could be shaved as well, probably

-All Conjures should no longer have charges. It’s a redundant mechanic because you’re not gonna want to hold onto them long enough for charges to matter anyway

-Earth Shield should break stun on cast. In addition, it should cripple foes around you and around where the second Shield appears

-Frost Bow should create a Cleansing Wave like Dagger 5 when cast, at your location and where the second Bow appears

-Lightning Hammer should Daze enemies when cast, at your location and around where the second Hammer appears. Buff DPS.

-Lava Axe should create a Flame Burst like Staff 3 when cast, at your location and around where the second Axe appears. Reduce the direct damage on its skills and drastically buff its burning capabilities.

-Fiery Greatsword should be 100% maintainable if not dropped early, like all other Conjures. Buff direct damage. Skill 2 should be castable on the move. Skill 5 should have its aftercast reduced.

-Conjurer should be changed to: Gain an Aura when an ally picks up a Conjured weapon; the type of Aura depends on the Conjured weapon. Reduced cooldown on all Conjure weapon skills for you only.

Also, I don’t really know why Conjurer is in the Fire specialization…feels more like an Arcane trait.
