It’s a bit clunky as a gap closer, and it feels like there’s a delay after you reach your target. I almost always only use the first half of the skill. It might be better if instead it used the animation for magnectic surge so we just slide into our target.

As a side note, it also makes more sense. When a magnet pulls something towards it, it generally doesn’t travel in an arc.

That is in fact how Magnetic Leap used to work. It was buggy and you often would CC yourself for a few seconds being stuck in the middle of the animation so they chose to split the skill into the immobilize and the leap.

I hate the root at the end, if they’d just fix that for once… sliding gets us stuck in terrain, the old slide looked cooler though yes yes.

You know, I’d completely forgotten that. They are updating magnetic surge with the rest of the conjures though, maybe they’ll fix the terrain issue with the slide while they’re at it.
