Support Ele & Gear
But healing power benefits entire group, while vitality benefit only player. Why giving up on that?
I am no expert on the subject, but I would suggest having an armor or jewelry swap to something more hardy. Magi’s has same healing power, but vitality and precision as minors. The precision may not be useful, but a few of them for the vitality may be useful. Shaman’s is another good one, vitality main with healing power and condition damage minor. And you already know Soldier’s.
Personally, I’d suggest to look into adding in some more Soldier’s. There are Ascended Rings, Amulets, and Back slot for Soldiers, while there is none for Clerics. So maybe adding in some Soldier’s Jewelry would be a good place to start. I am not saying to replace all the Trinkets either, maybe just a few more for some vitality. You could still keep the Sapphire Jewelry and swap as needed even.
Just switch a few cleric items out for some pow/tough/vit gear (soldiers).
I’m assuming you have 30 water so you’re hanging out at about 13k hps. If you can get in the 16k hp neighborhood with some vit on your gear that should be sufficient.

If you have full clerics (or magi) you should be good to go as support. If you have some concern with your vital, mix with magi. I personally believe magi set is better for support from testing I did (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/elementalist/Vital-vs-Toughess-for-healing-gear/first#post825016), but some reason I like cleric better (>_<). IMO if you have 30 on water that should give you enough vital even with full cleric.
There’s some good information regarding spec and gear.
Also there’s Vit/Heal/Cond gear from CM Explorable. I pair it up Cleric’s gear but thinking of swapping to the Tough/Heal/Cond gear as well (but it’s pretty kitten expensive).
