I know Ele has sorta kicked by Anet from Tank mage duke nuke’em to support, but when I said. “I wanna play support because there is no healer in Gw2” I had rolled a Mesmer. Then it turns out, I was told Staff Ele is better at this. And with the ability to Lv in PvP (What Im going for, WvW too.) Would it be worth it to Start over as an Ele? Or is mesmer a better support in the long run?

I dont wanna play a pewpew smashybashy class, because I have both a Ranger (Press one button, win.) and Engie (Bombs go boom) so Is this the class I’m looking for?

What kind of support are you trying to accomplish? Defensive, Offensive, Control?

mm yes, probably. Staff ele is very versatile at supporting
give your allies all of the boons, heal them, disable enemies
you can even throw a weapon at them that they can use

Mass CC support, defensive Fields for buffs and able to deal alots of AoE Dmg.
Elementalist

Portal, Time warp, Veil, Null field unbelievable strong skills for mass WvW gameplay.
Mesmer

now it’s your choice

Staff Ele sounds like more what Im going for, thank you all for the replies!
