New ES idea. Took a while, and is REALLY long. You can grasp the basics from reading up to when it explains weapon skills.

Surger Elementalist Elite Specialization

Principle: The Surger is a ele ES based around getting the feeling of “You are in the danger zone.” Your new weapon is a shortbow, used to fragment magic in the air to create miniature ley lines. Your new utility skills are traps, giving more of a feeling of a danger zone. A lot of your attacks focus around ley lines.

Ley Line Mechanics: Attacks will leave ley lines or “ley nodes.” On a ley line, every 300 (range) is a ley node, or a thickened section. Ley nodes are what your attacks focus around.

Profession Mechanic: Ley Surge: 10 second cd. Press your attunement button (of your current attunement). Your current attunement becomes tagged. The next time you swap attunements, you activate a Ley Surge, based on a combination which element was tagged and which element you swapped to. Each foe or ally can only be affected by a max of 5 ley nodes. (To prevent OP surges.)

Fire and Water: Ley nodes blind foes within 300 range of them for 2 secs.

Fire and Earth: Ley nodes burn foes within 300 range for 3 seconds.

Fire and Air: Ley nodes grant might for 8 secs and fury for 3 secs to all allies within 300 range.

Water and Earth: Ley nodes immobilize foes for 1 sec and cripple foes for 2 secs within 300 range.

Water and Air: Ley nodes chill foes for 1 sec and grant allies 2 secs of swiftness within 300 range.

Earth and Ar: Ley nodes deal 2 bleed for 3 secs to foes within 300 range.

Shortbow Weapon Skills

Fire Attunement

1.Streaking Fire: Fire an arrow with a fire trail. Deals 1 burning for 1 sec. Deals medium-low damage and has 900 range.

2.Infernic Volley: Rapid fire bolts of fire. Each one does more damage the closer the foe. (Meant to pressure foes getting to close.) 900 range.

3.Inner Power: Summon a ley node to follow you closely. Gain 3 might for 5 secs.

4.Burning Accuracy: Enter a defensive stance for 5 secs. Fire arrows at all incoming projectiles, destroying all projectiles targeted at you. Gain might for 3 secs for each blocked projectile.

a.Burning Evasion: Cancel your stance to evade backwards and gain fury for 5 secs if you evade an attack with this.

5.Ley Flame:Set target area on fire, fueled with ley energy. Summon a ley node there. It connects to up to 4 nodes within 1200. Those nodes deal burning for 3 seconds every 3 secs to every foe in 300 range of them. 3 sec duration.

Water Attunement

1.Piercing Shard: Fire an icy bolt that pierces through foes. Deals moderate damage. 900 range.

2.Frost Arrow: Pin your foe down with a frozen arrow. Chills and cripples for 3 secs. 900 range.

3.Ley Rich Waters: Gant 1 sec of regen to you and all allies within 600 for every ley line within 600. Heal a small amount for each ley node in 600.

4.Frozen Ley Line: Fire an arrow that tears through space, leaving a ley line. When it hits your foe, it chills for 1 sec and deals 3 vulnerability for 5 secs. 900 range.

5.Torrent: Unleash arrow after arrow for 5 secs. You can switch targets mid attack.

a.Breaker Wave: Launch several arrows in a cone in front of you that knockback foes but only go 300.

Earth Attunement

1.Obsidian Arrow: Fire an obsidian arrow that splits into 3 pieces at 600 range. 900 range,

2.Diamond Focus: Your next 5 attacks give you might for 5 secs and inflict bleeding for 3 secs.

3.Ley Stones: Summon a ley line in a circle around you with a 200 radius (3 nodes) The nodes have small stones beneath them. You gain protection for 5 secs.

4.Shrapnel Storm: Summon a shrapnel storm around you, dealing 2 bleeding for 2 secs two nearby foes every second. Destroys incoming projectiles. Extends 100 from you. 3 sec duration.

5.Rising Mountain: Summon a mountain with a ley node inside. Floats any enemies at its location for 1 second. 600 range.

Air Attunement

1.Thunder Bolt: Fire an electrified arrow. Upon hitting a foe, it splits and hits two nearby foes. Deals medium-low damage to all enemies involved. 900 range.

2.Storm Cloud: Fire an arrow with an electric charge at target area. It will create a storm cloud above it. The storm cloud lasts 5 secs and will shoot lightning at foes beneath it. 900 range.

3.Air Current: Fire an arrow at target area that rips through the air, forcing it away. When it reaches the target area, it creates a ley node and the air rushes back, granting swiftness for 10 secs to all allies in its path.

4.Lightning Shot: Fire a powerful arrow that applies 5 vulnerability for 5 seconds.

5.Triple Lightning: Fire an arrow, creating a ley line from you to your foe. Evade to the right. Fire another arrow, creating another ley line. Evade to the right again. Fire another arrow, creating a last ley line.

Healing Trap

Sea of Energy: Heal and drop a trap. When triggered, it slows foes for 3 secs and grants regeneration to allies for 5 secs.

Utility Traps

Glacial Front: Drop a trap at your location. When a foe triggers it, it forms a glacier around them that freezes (stuns) them for 1 second and chills them for 3 sec. When activated, it connects to up to 3 ley nodes within 1200 range. Every 3 secs they apply chill for 3 secs to all foes within 300 range of them. 6 second duration.

Volcanic Uprising: Drop a trap at your location. When a foe triggers it, volcanos blast up around them, dealing 2 burning for 3 secs. When activated, it creates a ley node that connects to up to 3 ley nodes within 1200. They deal blind for 3 secs every 3 secs to all foes within 300. 6 sec duration.

Sinking Earth: Drop a trap at your location. When triggered, it immobilizes for 3 secs and cripples for 5 secs. When activated, the earth around it turns to mud and it creates a ley node that connects to up to 3 ley nodes within 1200. They deal 2 bleeding for 5 secs every 3 secs. 6 sec duration.

Excess Charge: Charge an area at your location. When a foe triggers it, deal 5 vulnerability for 3 secs. When activated, it creates a ley node that connects to up to 3 nearby ley nodes within 1200. They create a massive wave of static force, dealing high damage and knocking back foes within 300 of one of the ley nodes.

Elite Trap

Ley Network: Drop a trap at your location. When a foe triggers it, summon a network of ley lines, with a ring of 4 ley nodes and a ley node at the center. It immobilizes the foe that triggered it for 3 secs.

Traits

Minor Adept: Leyline knowledge: Gain the ability to use traps and a shortbow.

Major Adept Traits

Ley-Infused Arrows: Shortbows deal more damage and you attack faster while wielding them.

Large Leyline Fragments: Traps recharge faster and have a larger radius.

Pulsing Power: When you Ley Surge, gain 3 might for 5 secs.

Minor Master: Leyline Travel: Ley nodes increase movement speed while you are within 300 of them.

Major Master Traits

Numbing Channeler: Chill you apply lasts longer. Apply weakness for 3 secs when you chill.

Vital Leylines: Leylines increase healing power for you and allies within 300. Doesn’t stack.

Pulsing Anger: When you Ley Surge, gain fury for 5 secs.

Minor Grandmaster: Accessible Leylines: The bonus from Leyline Travel now applies to allies.

Major Grandmaster Traits

Overforced Elements: Tagging a tagged element now activates a powerful ability based on your attunement and put all of your Ley Surges on a universal 20 sec cooldown. They do not destroy your ley lines.

Fire: Demolishing Flames: Rips boons from foes near your ley nodes. Deals more damage per boon.

Water: Gathering Frost: Chills foes near your ley nodes for 3 secs. After 3 secs, stun all foes near your ley lines for 2 secs.

Air: Vortex: All ley nodes pull foes within 300 range.

Earth: earthen Fortress: All allies within 300 range of your ley nodes get 3 conditions cured and gain protection for 2 secs for each condition cured.

Controlled Leylines: Traps are now ground targeted.

Frozen Reduction: Chilling a foe has a chance to apply slow for 3 secs.

99% sure they’ll be giving us another offhand or maybe mainhand because that way they only have to design 8 or 12 new skills instead of 20.
