Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone

Recently returned to GW2 and am currently playing a Druid in WvW/PvP in general and i do find it very enjoyable but i would like to make a 2nd character to do the same with.

I was wondering how useful Staff ele/temp in terms of building for either support or aoe damage as i am on a tier 2 server so its mostly zergs no small skirmishes

What builds do you suggest and etc?

I also wanted to try chronomancer but didnt see a build that i would like to play as again tier 2 still tends to be zergy and there is not really a AoE chrono build unless i am mistaken

Staff is top zerg. don´t know if you want to do some “Meta” build and also how much defence/offence stats. I would do something like that:

This is a balaced aproach not too sqishy but still strong damage. The type i prefer.
And lookin on the verocity this build is evil ^^.

What are the meta builds? i dont mind having a set up for pure glass canon and a set up for support like auramancy type build but i ll take a look at this one for sure!

Of course you can go ful zerker but the valk armor feels more efficient.
I would even use celestial earrings and go for a blood or leech sigil but its personal preference.

I was going to post a similar topic so if you don’t mind I will piggy back on this one. The big difference from the op however is that I am in T4 and run with a smallish roaming group. We never have had a dedicated ele in the group but would like to start incorporating one. Our group make up now is support guard (might change to druid), stance/shout warrior, scraper, Chrono, necro, reaper, and a few other dps that change around. So usually we run 5-7 people.

I would really like utilize a staff ele or tempest in this group for cc and support but still bring some damage as well. I would prefer to stay away from the dagger/dagger cele ele if at all possible. Normally I would post a build and ask you guys what you would change up but for this one I am clueless on what to even start with. So if anyone could suggest a build I would appreciate it.

Any though about running zelots or even the once spvp only gear of power crit dmg armor and healing power set?

I cant work with the newish spvp gear sets but here somthing i put togeater tell me what you think.

The magic number for heals on auras is base 870 so your auras will heal others for 1k (the out going heal of +15% from water line).

Any thoughts on a WvW small group build incorporating staff and tempest with the group make I posted above?

The new combos are out to play with on the build editor i link all the time there some real powerful combos that can be made now. I have a good build in mind but i have no ideal how to get the items for it lol.

Where do you get these combos? Also tell me what you guys think of this staff tempest wvw build.
