With cleansing water unnerfed in spvp, I can’t wait to use my WvW build 100% of the time in there. That was an excellent decision.

That along with the SoR change and the agreement to bring more stat combos into spvp is making me super happy. You’re heading in the right direction, truly I think.

Wait, the reversions to Cleansing Water and Signet of Restoration happened already??

EDIT: Sorry, my bad. The changes have been announced but have not gone through yet. Still excited though, these are good first steps!

So…they basically changed nothing so far about ele? It’s just going to be only cantrips forever with 2-3 useless trait lines -_-?

Dunno why they only continue to promote cantrip builds.

I remember that their reason for nerfing Cleansing Water in the first place was that eles could use all their cantrips at once to remove 3 conditions with Soothing Disruption. Because that’s not a terrible use of defensive utilities or anything.

Nerfs like removing the ability to heal in Mist Form were good, but we’re still waiting for the devs to dig us out of the hole they put us in with stuff like this. I wouldn’t be so quick to thank them.

This is the first step to bring back the elementalist to sPvP. Now Anet has to swallow their pride and admit they made wrong balance decisions in the past. The next step is to revert the RTL nerf.

It’s a good sign. Anet finally realized that the old PVP Ele builds they nerfed to the ground were not really that OP so they’re now reverting little by little. Now let’s wait and hope for a global buff.
