Great as a weapon choice for Elementalist. I read somewhere that Anet would be adding certain weapons to certain professions. It would be nice if the great sword would be a consideration for Elementalist.

I doubt they’ll give us a weapon we can summon. Personally i’d prefer dual 1 handed swords and dual pistols.

I’ve said it dozens of times. Give us slow, heavy hitting, AOE smackdown hammers filled with explosions.

However, since that would require them retexturing all light armors to work with jugg. it’ll never happen.

I figure Greatsword could work well as a long range single target nuker. We have Staff for area damage, mainhand Dagger for melee range, and Sceptre for medium range (and it covers both area damage and single target well). Having a good weapon for spiking from a distance with fast, single target attacks would be very useful for an Ele.
