Well, that’s pre-patch necro and ele. Now it’s pretty much 10 seconds kill on any necro.

ranger is running marauder gear instead of celestial gear. naturally his skills do more damage.
just use your combos, block his projectiles, chain cc him, chill him and suddenly ranger does no damage at all.

Yeah . . . no. Ranger does no where near as much damage as the ele while simultaneously surviving. Oh wow, they have 1 skill that does a lot of damage! Too bad it’s damage split over a channel and is one of the easiest things in the game to block. Elementalist combos are easy to do and honestly you just need to apply burning and blast finish fire fields for might. Ranger is a hell of a lot harder to play than ele for the simple fact that ranger is in such a terrible place right now they have to completely out class their opponent by such a huge margin. Stop spewing 2 year old hate bandwagon things that are outdated and do not apply today.

If you are losing to rangers as an ele? You need to practice . . . a lot.

Anyways though, still an entertaining video.

I still don’t understand…OP is complaining because other classes are boring to play? Disregarding the blatanly wrong implications regarding ranger damage, survivability, and skill ceiling, if you would rather play a class that doesn’t require skill then go play it. Eles are awesome because they are actually fun to play and have excellent performance.

I think for a ranger to be effective yes, for getting his rotations down, no. Ele is a harder class to master yes but being a good ranger is mostly about map awareness which is surprisingly difficult for people.
