With the recent patch nerfing Feel the Burn and Flash Freeze cooldowns, I feel like adding a 20% cooldown reduction to Tempestuous Aria is easily justified. It would return the cooldowns for those two very close to their previous cooldowns, help the awful cooldowns that keep the other utility shouts underused, and make the trait more competitive against Invigorating Torrents, especially if you aren’t going bunker or healbot.

That is not a bad idea, hope some dev sees it.

Yes ist realy time now. Add -20% to tempestious aria.
Bunker ele can´t get regen on aura and the cooldown.
If the concern ist pain away then 30 sec base cast time can be done.
Don´t know it this would kill the helbot ele. Guess not.

Yup, they should have the -20% shout duration trait. Remember, taking the shout traits mean you won’t have access to the removing condition on Aura anymore. It allows for more build diversity without power creep for the healbot build.

No to directly nerfing base WtPA cd.

Fine with that since regen is excluded if taken.

I’d love a shout cd trait. Sadly it would need to go in to the tempest line and there really isn’t room for it there.

It is. Tempestious Aria should just add it. It would then be competativ to stab on OL or regen on auras and won´t support auramancer.

Agreed. Adding it to Tempestuous Aria makes a lot of sense, and is balanced since you have to either give up regen/vigor on aura or Stability on Overload.

They felt it was too much at no cost. They nerfed it. With a trait, you’d get the old CDs at a cost.

I like the idea of adding that functionality Tempestuous Aria.

Oh my ….. Its because of build diversity. Nerfing CD for Regen on auras is a nerf to sustain. If you give tempestious aria a CD reduction you unnerf (and buff slightly) non pure auramancer builds …

Invigorating Torrents shares it’s trait tier with Tempestuous Aria. In the event they added a shout CD reduction functionality to it, you’d have to pick one or the other.

IT makes sense and makes the less used shouts more valuable

Putting it on IT would be OP. Putting it on TA would promote build diversity. I think some of you are confused about the traits.

IT is the regen and vigor on aura proc. TA is the shout based trait folks are talking about wanting to add a CD bit for shouts.

Both of these traits are in the master tier. Meaning if they did add a CD reduction bit to TA, you wouldn’t be able to also take IT. You’d have to pick between the two.

I think it’s a good idea.

While we’re at it, hard CC is everywhere right now. Harmonious Conduit should give at least two stacks of stability for 4s instead of just one.

I think that’d make it a more competitive choice and promote diversity in tempest builds.
