Ive recently dabbed in to 10 earth magic to pick up splintered stone or whatever its called. It gives 10% while within 600 range. Is there any tips or tricks to being able to know whether you are in range or not?

Nope.

The best you can do is guess work. Find a 1200-range ground-target skill. Hold the green circle at maximum range, and guage what half of that distance would look like (to find 600)

But no, there’s no way to dynamically check your range on the fly. Experience will teach you.

Depends on the weapons being used. Dagger/Dagger is easy foe example. Staff is a bit harder to the point i don’t think it is worth having as a trait. Scepter will take practice but could be worth it.

Spend a little bit of time playing d/d and learn the proper range of burning speed (integral to playing the set). That is 600 range.

If you have a skill that is 600 range, it will have a red bar under it if you are greater than that range.

Since the bonus applies when you are within 600 range, when in doubt, move closer!
