I am currently lvl 80 and have 70 trait points just waiting to be used! I have no idea what to do with them (I have all manuals used) I don’t want to mess up cause I am not sure you can refund them…… I will take any answers for traits that will help me do mega damage and stay alive as long as possible!

You can refund them at the npc that sells the manuals. Go and experiment make a build that fits your style. there are alot of builds on the forum. There was also a thread about trait rating somewhere (too lazy now to go look for it) if you can find it take a look at it.
And who knows maybe you’ll find a new build that works.

It comes down to your play style and location (WvW, PvE or PvP).

0 fire 10 air 0 earth 30 water 30 arcana
or 0/0/0/30/20 and put the last 20 wherever you like
or just spend 3.5s each time you want to switch and test out what you like best.

There are several guides on the forums for many different builds. I’d suggest you go to the mists first, where resetting traits is free, and try all of them out and see which one you like best rather than keep spending silver to respec. Spvp isnt really the same as PvE, so things will be different, but it will give you a basic idea atleast without costing you lots of money to try out all the builds.

Enter spvp lobby Heart of the mists, you can reset as much as you want for free whilst testing against ane…..oops, the dummies*
Once found one you like, enter normal zones & set up traits again.
