Is it just me or is the underwater combat somewhat lacking??

I just don’t go underwater on my ele unless vital for map completion. Underwater combat bores me to tears anyway and this class inparticular I find has a tougher time in general.

I adore land combat on my elementalist and heart sinks when I am forced to get my robe wet.

in pve is avarage, in pvp its yust kittening horrid and i did rather have an elementalist with 1 spell dealing 1k dmg.. then the underwater spells we have atm.

Are we playing the same profession? I think ele underwater is amazing. We have blind, stun, teleport, and much more.

Our skill set is amazing underwater compared to every other class.

The only issue is the elites underwater. Everything else, imo, is pretty amazing.

Fire skill 2 deal aoe dmg on good radius
Fire skill 3 is a blind
Fire skill 4 is a crippl
Firte skill 5 is a burning

Water 2 is missile dmg+shatter dmg on command
Water 3 is roll back + shatter dmg on command
Water 4 is regeneration
Water 5 is dmg charge

Air 3 is teleport on command
Air 4 is float interrupt
Air 5 is static field

Earth 1 is bleed
Earth 4 is sink
Earth 5 is mass blind

I use these skills 80% of times, you can best any profession , very strong skillset underwater for eles

Thieves #2 harpoon gun skill does over 10k damage (4-5 hits, each for 2-3k each), and is spammable.

Our underwater skills are attrocious.

We have crappy damage underwater, look at earth 1, does like 150 damage including the bleed. Yay, crowd control, but you need damage to back it up.

Sad part, ele downed 1 underwater does more damage than most of the auto attacks.
