You are right it is bugged.
They shouldn’t have removed the damage and cripple on it for as well.
Does any1 else notice the effect it applies when it stops an enemy? it places something like magnetic aura on you, only for like a split second though. but its noticeable

I noticed this too. It is in fact a Magnetic Aura and will reflect projectiles.

Honestly that skill has almost become useless to me because of that bug. I myself would like it a bit more if that was fixed and maybe had in a knockback seeing as it pretty much does uppercut them when they try to pass.
I still say you should be able to click on it and detonate it, much like the ice wall thing we have on trident. Detonating it would then cause the cripple and damage. Maybe add an immobilize to it as well..
I kinda liked the change they made to it, but now I’m not so sure. Personally, I think it should get reworked sometime in the future to something like: Covers a large area and enemies entering are knocked down(1sec) and inflicted with cripple(6sec) weakness(3sec) and vulnerability(3sec). Knockdown is triggered every 3 seconds.
