Up RTL Damage
A nerf was needed and i still think it should have been harder. But it’s a start.

I think the damage is perfectly acceptable, personally. Especially when taking into account the other advantages of the skill, namely mobility.
So, I see it making it more unbalanced honestly.

A nerf was needed to ride the lightning itself, or to ele, or to just some ele builds? This rtl nerf is hitting any build with an offhand dagger remember!
What RTL needs now is to make it so you can still use your abilities. If it’s going to be “balanced” like a regular dash, then it should have the perks of regular dashes as well.

Well 20-30 sec CD would be fair.. Keep the range and what so ever.. And a theif and guardian would still be able to catch up, but they have to use abilities with longer Cd (utilities):)
RTL is a crazy versatile skill. It’s a great dash, a great speed boost and a great escape tool. By increasing its cooldown, the skill as a whole has been nerfed, but its individual effects are still effective and impressive. So I think this is a well-thought nerf.
To me its a slight DPS nerf, and now it will be harder to run away from zergs.. which now that scrubs finally know how to use immob and chill in WvW I can’t get away half the time anyways. Right now it doesn’t seem that bad but I’m sure when I’m playing later I’ll notice it pretty often when I switch to air to RTL away from being focused and it wont be up.

I think a slight damage buff would be a decent idea. It would encourage people to decide whether or not to use it as a DPS ability or a mobility ability, rather than saving it for mobility 9/10 times (also note that 84% of statistics are made up on the spot), which will be happening even more often with the CD nerf.
im suprised it renewing on swap sigils wasnt removed… though i do like it… can be lazy and stay in air another 10 seconds using it to refresh battle

I dont know why they nerf an amazing skill into an less than half-amazing skill.
I loved when i could use both my weapon skills and utility skills while RTLing.
I agree with op except i rather suggest upping the power scaling on this skill (that way only dps builds would receive the real benefit). All dps dagger builds are getting nerfed hard because of the nerf. At least make it a more bursty skill for them.
