It’s nothing spectacular by any means (just a couple of short, fun clips from yesterday). You run 00446 still (if my memory serves me right)? What’s your experience with signet over ether? I ask ‘cause that last fight was a really good example of a situation where signet would have done you a lot more good. The all-in potential of ether is just sooo much lower. I used to run ether for the longest time myself until I took an arrow to the knee really learned to appreciate what signet can do. Biggest downside is it forces you to run 6 water, and you might have a slightly harder time getting away, but it’s so much more fun.

Yup! It’s still the old 0/0/4/4/6 spec, but I’ve been playing with the gear more lately. It’s kinda moot at this point because the specializations are going to change everything regarding builds and gear, but it’s made playing much more enjoyable for now. Here’s a link, if you wanted to look at it.
Personally, I really like the signet. I use it in sPvP, and it’s good for small scale WvW too. For the most part though, I prefer Ether Renewal just because the condition removal and burst healing is really nice when you’re tanking 20 people. Of course, I definitely agree that the signet would’ve been much better in the second clip’s fight. Taking the time to channel Ether Renewal has cost me a lot of fights and duels just because I can’t pressure the enemy for 3 seconds. The fact that I’m not running Doom makes it that much worse. T.T I might try running it more, or maybe even full time after the expansion hits and I can take 6 in Water without losing anything.

I definitely plan on posting more soon. Hopefully I can find some better fights (DR’s current WvW matchup is totally dead). It’s going to be hard to top the FGS wall rush though. xD
