Viper Condi Ele
i play viper mix in WvW roaming and played it in PvP. While it can be very funny to burn all down in PvP it´s too squishy.
And i don´t know what you want to do. I use viper weapons + armor mixed with celestial and rabid and a durability rune. I am also a fan of scavenger rune.
S/F earth/Fire/tempest is most fun for me. Can be played with all other elements instead of fire. Arcane plays quite cool as ele feeling but in the end i do way more damage traiting fire.
I mean pure Viper condi ele vs the standard zerker ele
Squishball you need to be good with but can be a lot of fun. If too squishy you can use cele trinkes or dire/rabid
Its ok but all you do is just burn and bleeding that that not enofe to kill ppl unless you can make one of the 2 much stronger kind of like burn gurds. Ele missing a 3ed condtion dmg or a real powerful condtions.
I think ele should get added effects from there 2 types of condtion dmg such as burning from ele makes a person get a -% boon duration effect on them (burning though boons) and bleed should be a -% healing effect a “toxic earth” effect.
Is what i am solo roming in wvw with some luck.

greatest condi ele build in the world
use wisely
I tried a non-optimal condi ele against the golem and I got to around 22k dps with realistic buffs. With actual optimal gear I would expect at least 25k dps which is acceptable for raiding.

I think that is what you would want to aim for. Swapping between Fire and Earth after overload is optimal, only use elite in Fire, etc.
I think by now you have a good representation of PvE, WvW, and PvP.
Not worth it to use viper, sinister still better for condi temp
will give you about 30k dps, its abit lower then condi ranger and condi engi. And as squishe as berserker temp. So the reason to play it is.. but if you like it and think its fun, then its a good dmg build that easy can take a dmg spot in raids.
Make suse to NEVER leave fire attunement, use 3+4 off cd, and press 7+8+9 any time you can also. Your fgs you only drop to use nr. 2 skill. Make sure to drop it (and use nr. 2 skill) before using overload fire, this way your overload do more dmg, and you can use nr. 2 again after the overload as its off cd again.
Variation:
scepter not dagger main hand. This cost you some dmg, but not alot. And the benefit is that you are ranged (helps for greens at VG), and you now have a blast finisher to help with might/fury stacking. This can be helpfull at any boss where your war can have a few sec down time or where you run condi war.
Warhorn not focus in off-hand, focus 4 is a huge dmg dealer, but it cover a small area, so if the boss move abit, it can be hard to hit. Warhorn can here can the help as the aoe is alot larger. Just bevare, the dmg will drop.. alot. A small saving grace for warhorn is nr. 4 that share might/fury to group. This can often make it possible for your druid to drop tiger for large parts of the fight if your group strugle with cc.
TLDR: Less dmg then other condi builds, and less dmg then power temp. But still a ok option for a dmg build. Just NEVER leave fire attunement ^^
I agree with pretty much everything Sigfodr said and I have used it for doing green circles and the red guardian at VG. There isn’t much point running it elsewhere but it’s a fun build if DPS isn’t too tight and conditions are useful.
An ele and engy will melt red guardian with this as they have plenty of conditions and will have nearly 25 might and tons of fury.
