So I just got back into playing my elementalist. I’ve started using warhorn and I’m enjoying it a lot for PvE. There’s just one issue. The lacklustre sounds that it makes. Can something be done with this to make it fit the theme of Tempest? Anyone else feel the same?

Even the horns that are supposed to have unique sound effects get turned into FARTS

I like the warhorn sound, I never quite understood the obsession with people comparing the sound to farts.

Some unique skins have their own unique warhorn sounds, you can try using one of those. The only ones I know of are the Super Warhorn Skin and the Crimson Lion Warhorn Skin. The first makes it sound like a trumpet and the second replaces your warhorn sound with a roaring sound like that of a lion.

Elementalist warhorn fart still overrides all of the unique horn sounds.

(As far as I know anyway, and ive tried super horn and science horn)

I dont want to use a skin to alter the sound. I don’t like those skins you suggested anyway. I want the warhorn to sound as magically imbued as the skills make it seem.
I would like fire crackling, electric surges, rocks crumbling and to hear the sea.

I find the warhorn sounds rather refreshing in comparison to all majestil magic sounds eles do, always makes me laugh especially when I play with asura midget.

Then you’re straight outta luck. If we start doing that we’d end up overhauling the majority of all effects to fit some kind of desire or theme.

At least the warhorn gives you the chance to change some sounds. Though I can confirm now that using the skins still plays the original sound and just adds the special sound to it.

Besides the sound, I thought the fact that it’s the same player animation for all 8 skills was a bit lazy.

It would seem that the Super, Toad and Storm wizard horns no longer fart.
