Been scouring around the interwebs for an updated build for a Staff Water (healer/support) Elementalist with no avail.
I know you can’t just sit in Water if you are going to be helpful. However.. If anyone could help me out with maybe just some tips on how to play as a Water Ele that would be awesome.
Cleric gear i suppose? What would be the other 2 Spezializations to Water? (I don’t have HoT yet! )
As support i would go earth and arcane. If you want to do damage it´s fire.
For a pure healer with no damage needs i would go nomad gear. (Minstrel with hot)
Here an example which would be a troll. Maximum tank in earth. Heal with water autoattack. For more healing pick aquamancers training and soothing power like version 2. The build doesn´t do much damage…
Tank camping more earth.
Healer camping more water.
Damage + Healing:
Full celestial is also always an option to pick and try all kind of builds.

Water/arcane/earth will enable you to have multiple blast finisher in your water combo field. Dodging in earth, staff earth 2, and you can use arcane wave for blast finishers to combo off of water field. Use cantrips for defense/regen and you can dodge in water for a heal. A tempest/water/arcane spec can put out more direct healing because of aura heal/regen and overload water.
Its not the best to go full support on an ele. Eles love celestial its a balance of every stat you need, so you can swap roles easier. You gain enough stats to be a healer/damage dealer/tank.
