Hey all just had a question about going water with duel daggers?

So far my new skills/traits are 10/0/0/30/30

I have a few pieces of TA gear with healing being the focus so my build is not yet complete

I have already noticed in dungeons I can actually survive if I just keep moving which is a huge relief from always dying in 30/10/0/0/30 mode even with full CoF power based gear.

Anyway, my question is once I get full TA healing gear what other attunements work well that could complement the water duel daggers strategy in dungeons/pvp/pve?

All of them? I think the whole point of the ele is to be contstantly switching attunements I know I have mine set up to the point that i have unlimited dodges gaining might on dodge and constantly having swiftness, regen, protection, and might. Do not lock yourself into one attunement you hindering yourself.

So is getting healing gear a mistake then? Because that would greatly reduce my earth and wind attunements.

Ok I’m not sure if I understand what your asking anymore, and it may be your confused in attunements…. Attuning to an element does not change what your stats do…. Healing gear is fine if that’s what you would like to play with just because you specced into a trait line doesn’t mean you have to only use those attunements like I said that would hinder you. Playing ele should feel very fluid constantly swapping attunements for what is called for in your situation trying to keep your Boons up and once you get it down its really a beautiful feeling.

try 2/6 healing, 2/6 soldier and 2/6 zerker or something in that regard. Just keep swapping atunements while running the traits you currently have or you could change ‘m to some other build if you feel the need to. But that’s what works for me.
Full on clerics would give you around 1400-1600 healing power and since most of our healing is AoE you’d be a great asset to your allies even if you aren’t doing much damage or not in water atunement all the time.

I’m gonna suggest trying something you’ve probably not thought of before. It should be easy for you since you already have CoF Armor.

Go 0/10/0/30/30 (the “Water Arcanist” Elementalist build) with full Bererker gear (trinkets, and armor), and see where that takes you.

Elementalists have incredible survivability from the Water tree, and when coupled with full Berserker gear, you’re able to do OK damage while having incredible sustainability.

The classic setup is 0/10/0/30/30. It gives good survival opportunities.

But, I got sick of it, because its almost impossible to bring someone down with that build. Now I’m running 0/20/0/20/30… Gives better crits & dmg (49%/73% with fire signet). However my healing is much worse than before and I die more often in zerg battles.
You still die all the time in 1 vs 1 because your an elementalist and the game classes are imbalanced, but at least you do credible damage and against total noobs you can win.
