Maybe somebody went over this, but how is the second element choice selected?

When you swap attunements, your first element is shoved over to become your second element. Example: You’re currently in Fire/Water. You swap to Air. Now you’re in Air/Fire. Now you swap to Earth. Now you’re in Earth/Air. Then you hit Earth again. Now you’re in Earth/Earth.

Edit: The only exception to this is when you use the new skill, Unravel. When you have Unravel active, you lose your secondary attunement and instead only use single attunements.

^Or you hit the same element a 2nd time to have the same effect as unravel. I don’t see why you’d waste a util slot on unravel?

Yea unravel suppose to be used for new players who wants to adjust to the weavers playstyle. Its not an idea utility to use, unleess A-net changes something before launch. You have to plan ahead when it come to offhand skills.
