Inspired by a thread on the Necromancer forums, I am curious what you named your Elementalist.

I created mine on day 1 but have yet to level him in earnest: Mordenkainen

Blaine Tog. It’s been my online soubriquet for, gosh, almost 15 years now. I pretty much always use it for my first character in games.

After several tries to named my Ele during beta without success I end up with “allnamesaretaken” .While I was leveling I felt ridiculous with the name so recreated a new one with a name that I thought I invented Heidia. A couple of weeks later I looked it on google and to my surprise Heidia turns out to be a successful Israeli sale company….

Made mine a max height norn, and called him, Wrath Of The Titan.

BROKEN BALANCE is my Asuras name. its actually a running joke between my friends. you cant break balance if their wasn’t balance to begin with

Rraze Heartsmolder. Because lore is important to me.

In beta I had my Norn (smallest height) with a cool beard (has a metal thing in it) and kinda an Arbian theme named Kodiak X I really liked. Release I went with an Asura named Machiavelli X but I didn’t care for the hoppity animations and fell back on a Human named Kodiak X again.

I originally named him Gód, but after about three months someone reported me and I had to rename him because it was deemed offensive.

Now his name is Navzar, because he’s my main, so I gave him the account name.

Plebitz-I don’t know why it just sounded like an asuran name, I prefer asurans for some reason.

Rapid Oxidation.

The same as my Pyro in Rift and my Bright Wizard in WAR.

Although I am not practicing role player, my characters tend to have real sounding/lore correct names and (at least in my head) their own character and personality. For my Ele I wanted a strong, powerful name that would fit a person that controls the force of nature itself. I kind of like the result.

Polly Worrell because uhhhh pokemon pun (I also chose water on the biography thing).

Called my human Chireiden coz it sounded cool

Kwansao – rotating arms or rolling hands in Cantonese. A Wing Chun technique…

Sophea of Elements.
Most of my female characters are Sophea, Sophea Sladorian, Sophea Fleashrender
Most of my male characters are Slasher or a derivative, Slasher Sladorian, Slashtacular
I think my only character without this scheme is Flame Decimator (using flamethrowers to beat the Gold Legion (pvp only))

Song the Fox — Name my toons Song. I like foxes. Foxes are agile and cunning. You would think that I’d use that name for my thief or ranger, but with dd I feel almost like a spell thief. Like a magical ninja.

A pokemon I designed (could use all 4 elements) named it Swimsasa Stoon.
Made gw1 elementalist main named it Swimsasa Stoon.
Made gw2 elementalist named it Swimsasa Stoon.

Singge Golemburn is my elementalist.

Panginoon – Means lord
Zykahn – Means almighty ruler

Iamon Phyre, Charr Elementalist. CoF armor actually sets his tail on fire, so the name fits even better than it did on my GW1 Elementalist.

I just started a human ele called Aerwyna Yorke. She grew up a noble.

I named my Human Ele Hellsblazes works especially well with the COF Armor Which I usually have on alternating with my Magic Find Gear

Bloody Pumpkin,.bloody colorful sexy norn ele that can bail out of any grave situation with leopard elite :P

Akbaroth, charr male, Iron Legion. i’ve been suing the name Akbaroth since i first played an mmo and i felt it didn’t clash too badly with the general feel of charr names. I also considered giving him the last name Stormsoul, but i’m one of those people who makes backstories for most of their characters and Akbaroth left his warband (nothing bad, they kept in touch for a long time).

then again it doesn’t seem unusual for Gladium to keeo their sirname until they join a new warband so i may buy a name-change contract to add it in.

Geomancer Kirik! Due to most Asura not carrying a last name. They all prefer titles, as it signifies themselves. Anyway~! To many Pyromancers, Hydromancers, Cryomancers are all prancing around. Don’t get me started on the Sith-… I mean, Aeromancers.
( Don’t worry. I use all of the Elements during PvE and PvP )

I wanted to go with Vacus Trismegistus (Thrice-Great), but for some reason, Trismegistus is blocked by the name filter.

I took the name of a tragic character from Greek mythology who is associated with fire and intelligence and added on a surname that I think flows really well.

My first Ele is named “Kelly Mentalist”.

Then I made another one because I decided that I wanted Vigil armor so I named that one “Elle Mentalyst”

Killing
I named him Killing because my Elementalist’s name in Guild Wars was Killing Is Heroism and Killing became my name known in my guild up until present time.

I named mine Frajad, after Fraa Jad, a wise old monk with the ability to bend reality to his whim in Neil Stephenson’s novel “Anathem”.

My Ele` is called: Dead Gods Mouse. Guild Wars reference. Little did I know the dead part would become fact ;p

Magichemist (Mage + Alchemist) Zeke….though he’s technically an alchemical engineer…but one word titles are best. (Asura too…obviously, bookah). I changed his title when I remade him into an Elementalist from a Guardian.

Maximum Extreme. Because the Ele is simply the most awesome profession.

Bovinity Divinity E.

Because I could only have one character named Bovinity Divinity, so I took the entirely unoriginal approach of putting the first letter of the profession at the end of each alts name.

No, I don’t have an Engineer.
