Hello humans…I, K Then, a clueless elementalist player who has no idea which elite skill to use in PVP. I’ve tried them all, and come to the conclusion that the tornado is as useful as a blind crossing guard, though I’m not sure whether to use the flashy flashy burn sword or the Glyph of the eleMENTALLY challenged pets.

If you are not a Tempest, your elite choices are equally bad, because they are all used situationally. Tornado is good for clearing a point of enemies, but as soon as u neutralize it, stop the tornado early. You also need to be pretty tanky to survive.

Fiery Greatsword works either as an escape weapon or as a gap-closer. It has good damage, so remember to hit those skills before dropping it. Both these elites have the problem of closing out your regular skills, which you need to be able to defend.

The elemental is a bit lackluster. Be sure to use it either in Air or in Water, those 2 can actually bring something extra. Earth and Fire pretty much suck.

Even with Tempest, I prefer Gylph of Elementals, but in conquest only and only if I am playing staff bunker/support.

They are pretty valuable in holding points, because the restricted range of motion means they can actually do stuff.

Water elemental is probably the best, since it’s ability heals, cures a condi and the knockback can aid in decapping.

The aoe protection and cripple on earth elemental hits everyone on the point when triggered from the center of the point.

The on demand stun off air elemental is nice when fighting off point, because it’s ranged. It’s probably the only elemental I use when fighting off point.

In PvP as tempest i always use rebound now. Its cooldown is OK and it synergizes. It´s not a good elite but useful.
For non tempest i always use the sword. It is our best elite but the long cooldown ruins it for PvP…. So i guess the elemental ist best for non tempest ….
