What trait changes would you like to see?
that would be a start. since our +10% damage crap and our 20% CD reduction only affect
1/4 of our skills anyway. our skills are already long CD and our weapon swap CD is WAY too long to make up for the fact we have more skills.

1/5 of our skills profit from the CD reduction because autohits don’t have CD. Also the Ele seems to lack a core mechanic. F1 isn’t a mechanic like stealing from thieves or clones from mesmers – it’s a simple weapon swap. Keeping in mind that autohits are mostly useless in addition to some other spells (water-2 on scepter, air-2 on dagger, ect.) and the fact that our F1-keys do nothing but swapping “weapons” we might even have less access to spells than other classes do. And then there’s also the huge CD on some of them.
So I’d love to see some sort of effect (depending on attunement) that can be manually triggerred via a F5-button. The spells should have a shared CD which is reduced by putting points in the arcana tree (replacing the recharge-rate of attunenment-CD und lowering that to ~10s standard). For example there could be an aoe-root when attuned to earth, aoe-daze or knockback in air, Heal and Chill in water and damage+burning/might in fire. Currently we have to invest points to make our F-keys beneficial. No other class has to do that, since the F-keys are spells by themselves. The mechanic resembles that of a warrior, but I think it’s exactly what eles need – a low-CD holy-kitten-button.
