What would you change with new traits?
I just dont like any of the new gm ele traits. Some of the other class traits seem pretty nice though. 3 second invul on kill would be awesome but the class that already has stealth and clones gets it. 300 more vitality would be nice. Parasitic contagion would be nice some of our condi dmg healing us. 1000 toughness when stun fear disabled etc for 4 seconds would be nice. However what we got just seems poor.
Mmmmm, Maybe they could have done a Burning version of Parasitic Contagion. That it heals for say 25% – 50% of the Burning damage, considering its just ONE condition versus ALL the conditions the necromancer has (i assume)
Yeah we seemed to get rather poor ones with no imagination put into them what so ever.
I think the problem is that our traits overall have issues. The foundation is weak so of course the grand master traits will be iffy. Water has the most synergy out of all the trait lines so it is no huge surprise that everyone picks those traits even though we spend the least amount of time in the water attunement casting water skills (and I believe the water trait is so bad for current play style 100% intentionally).
I’m not sure how to suggest a fix for these traits when there are some fundamental issues. Frankly, I think the profession could have used some more master level traits than more grand master traits for trait lines with no cohesive identity.
