Never.
wasnt there some poll, were people voted on which character anet would have a look on? something about a Collaborative Development? however the ranger got voted over the elementalist.
Because ranger needs more help than ele (unless you play 1v1 with a spirit ranger and spam evades).
On topic: I don’t think the balancing patch is going to be released during the coming WvW season/tournament because Anet has stated multiple times that they do not make larger changes during a WvW season. As the tournament is going to last till May 20 I would say there is a good chance these changes are released at the end of May/early June.

Columbo is pretty much right on with this. It is unfortunate though, because it would have been nice to get some love before the season started.

I would make the first “Elementalists strike” in history, with aaaaall elementalists forfeiting the WvW season.
I know that most Ele zerglings “feels ok” and would not be part of this movement, but would be a nice message to devs….

If all the elementalists did that then Anet would have to “Hot Fix” a staff weapon set for warriors that had a compliment of all of the elementals staff abilities. You know Warriors always could use a group support build….

Well, until the ele is fixed/improved, im not even going to play GW2. WvW doesnt interest me one bit. So I wont be playing regardless.
I play PvE only with my Ele, so he must be so terrible in PvP / WvW or what? o.O PvE he’s king so … ??

WvW is only truly useful for zergs, in sPvP is the only class to not have any “competitive” builds though you can still do well if you’re better than the entire other team, especially any thieves.
