Hello guys!

So I’m currently level 80 on my Elementalist and I never really got into the amor thingy.
Simply because I really didn’t play that much.

Now that I’m pretty active again, I want some good looking armor that’s actually useful as well!

I don’t have a build yet either, but I want to play as a supportive elementalist.
I want to heal / attack and stay away from the combat from a distance.

What’s the best armor set I can possibly get? And where can I get it?

At the moment what you want isnt really optimal and you would jsut be bringing down your group.

Everyone is currently using berserker gear with full balls deep DPS builds most of the time, and the idea is to just rush things.

There are a few min-maxing things to look out for which im not to sure on and dont really care about.

The below guide is what I used when I came back after i stopped playing for basically a year and its gotten me more aware of the game quite happy with it. Its basically 100% uptime on Lava font which does a lot of damage (obviously you still swap between attunements to throw some regen/cc) and has a near 100% up time on Fury.

From what I understand, you want to have might stacking in a group as a priority because of strong and easy it is (not easy for most people somehow) and then retaliation and blinds are the next thing. The last two are for the whack tanking system which doesnt really exist.

If you want a set of gear that allows some room for recieving damage, I’d recommend a mix of Soldier’s and Berserker’s. That way, you’ll have a bit more hp (you may want to get at least 12k) and armor while still adding major power (the most important damage stat for staff eles). Something like soldiers armor and berserker trinkets should get you through the game just fine.

sometimes you just gotta go for style: this coming from the ele with 4 different armor sets.
i’m atm enjoying my traits (20,0,20,20,10) so a lot of my stat changes involves changing cloths, its also more versitile (as in swapping armor during a dungeon to fit the need of the team)

set1 is my soilder (and most used), gives some decent DPS due to the power and nice survivability with the toughness and vitality
set 2 is my zerker, for when i need more punch or wanna get into the dungeon runs where the listing is “zerk only or kick”
set 3 is cleric, for when i feel like just supporting the team
set 4 is Dire, for when i feel like running conditions (dire= condition, vitality/toughness)

only down side, since im to lazy to put it into the bank 18 of my inventory slots are my extra armor, that and if i decide to go overboard its gonna take me forever to ascend em all (not to mention all the trans crystals i’ll have to get if i choose to do that)
