I know this is kind of subjective but I wanted to hear opinions regarding which race would have the best armor sets (skins) for a male Ele.

I used a human male with a winged headpiece (rarely show headpiece), stately mantle, masquerade chest piece, masquerade gloves, vigil legs, and apprentice boots. Dyed with abyss and black cherry kinda gives the mysterious wizard kind of feel to it I say with my completely 100% biased opinion. Go for the human

Imo human Male ele is the best as far the males go, if your looking to be that ferocious ele, because of what they say when attuning to elements opposed to say sylvarian. LOL, A good male human look,(which is kinda of laidback) you can spec this via the bank gotta find the req items in the light armor section if you don’t have these items. Wraithe masque for head piece, Council ministry shoulders, Illustrious doublet for your chest, CoF arms for your gloves then Ascalonian pants and conjurer shoes.

I guess it all depends on what look and “personality” you want to give your ele.
A Norn shaman (they got tattoos!), an element-bending Sylvari or an Asura who masters the control of nature are all valid (and kinda cool IMO) approaches to the base class.
I just cannot recomend Charrs for this one, as most light armor looks ridiculous on them.

In fact, if you only want to show around your fashion, Norn is the best choice (as they are bigger).

Norn looks fantastic in light armor! Plus they have tattoos! And if your into RP you can do a shamanistic type of character or a nomad type of character… but norn all the way!

Sylvari ele with mohawk… the only way to go.

I’m quite pleased with my norn ele personally. Granted she’s female, though I suspect the outfit would still look good on male.

I love my Sylvari Ele…

I wouldn’t trade my bald Asura Ele for anything else.

Female Asura WvW healing ele

Charr with Hellfire gloves, pauldrons, mask, and boots. And CoF pants and coat. Pure fire, baby!

But really, the real reason you want to be a Charr is for the animations. Especially if you plan to use Fiery Greatsword Rush, Charr have this animation while dashing that looks REALLY cool!

Not only that, but the Dagger/Dagger Charr animations look quite appropriate and fluid as well. (This is as opposed to Asura who have a weird and glitchy Dagger #1 animations for fire and air…)

Yea that’s my hulk friend, I’m Iron Man, I’ve also found and beaten Loki in pvp. He was a mesmer :p

I finally decided to play a male Sylvari . Thank you very much for the opinions.
