Why is there a cast time on Aftershock and Flash-Freeze? It is a tremendous difference between Feel the Burn and the other shouts.

I don’t want to do Feel the Burn, I want Flash-Freeze, but the cast time is just breaking the combos.

Maybe they’re wary of instant-cast AoE CCs?

I do agree that being able to cast “Flash-Freeze!” and “Aftershock!” while Overloading (or Fire Grab, or Churning Earth, etc. etc.) would be amazing. But I can also see an argument for why counterplay is needed.

Well, I just use Feel the Burn. It would be better in most situation even if Flash-Freeze was instant.

There can be delayed effect, but it doesn’t need a cast time. Make it instant cast, and freeze after 3/4s.
