Why no attempt to fix the sceptre?
Silly person. Developers don’t fix things. They nerf the meta builds with collateral damage to non-meta builds. Then they go onto Twitter and Twitch to gloat.
Then they go onto Twitter and Twitch to gloat.
The gloating was in reference to the ice bow nerf. Which was way overdo, had been in the works for a while now and the drop mic was rather funny and well executed.
I have feeling devs really want only one single viable build to balance pro profession.
Everybody hates D/D but they are not even trying to give us an alternative.
But guys!!! Shatterstone does 10% more damage!!! It’s so gud now!!!1
…
Seriously, announcing scepter buffs to make it viable, then giving us a list as tiny and feeble as this… It’s just insulting. The Dragon’s Tooth buff is the only noticeable thing, and it’s way too minor to give serious eles a reason to use it in battle (instead of just before encounters).
DT was fixed to account for WvW siege LoS’ing “hacks”. It just happened to be a good thing.

Staff for PvE, dagger for PvP, and death to everything else. Including the tempest.

Then they should of nerfed it in PvE only, the ONLY part of the game it may have been overdue. The mic drop was a slap in the face to the other 66% of the game.
80 Necromancer (IRNY), 80 Guardian (IRNY)
GW2: it’s like DAoC, but for the WoW crowd.
The mic drop was amusing, but entirely unprofessional and out of place. They are announcing a nerf to THEIR OWN GAME, and feel the need to mic drop? Basically comes across as an insult to elementalists.
