Hi, just came back to play with my ele, so I wanna know how fresh air is working for roaming actually.
Please, feel free to share the builds you think that work better or your favourite ones, even if it has tempest traitline.

People say it is working but I do not think so. I have been playing scepter fresh air build since I started ele (2 years) but nowadays it feels not enough. Do not get me wrong, you can have amazing victories against some professions, but with the condi and bunker presence, It is not what it used to be. Still it is quite formidable.

There are better builds but my favourite is air-water arcane(or tempest sometimes), fresh air-cantrip build with full cantrip utilities. You can try earth instead of water (or fire if you are very confident).

Thats a version like i would do it. Agressive tempest.
Condition removal is the weak spot. You can take eather renewal as emergency. I personaly like the fast cast brilliance which is offensive too.
you can go more offensive using rune of surging (also one of my vaforits for power/boon builds)
If you want more defense use mussels gnashblade food instead of mighstacking.

Nedds some skill to play but is very enjoyable.

Hint: Might want to avoid necros with that boon machine :-).

elemental contigency over final shielding. The build can actually take some hits and it synergizes with boon duration making nearly every hit a crit. You are a mobile lighning storm overloading air every five seconds kiting inbetween.
If you want to go clelestial trinkets feel free. It synergizes with ele, but be aware that your power will drop noticeable for more survivability and some condi damage.

So in order to cover pure core ele in addition to Wolfrics suggestion, I want to share my build which I’ve been running non-stop for >4 months now (almost exclusively solo roaming).

It uses core traitlines only and a rather unintuitive choice of utilities. However you don’t need to avoid any class as soon as you get accustomed to the build.
It’s quite effective against power classes (although, admittedly, fights against scrappers and druids might go on forever …); against condi builds you usually need to kite a little but you should be able to cleanse the worst of it ;-)

You can end fights pretty quick by keeping up the pressure by switching elements very fast (well, as with all fresh air builds) and generally playing very aggressive.

1vs2 are manageable as long as at least one of them runs a power build.
1vs2 against condi builds is quite challenging, but well … it is fun anyway.

Generally, tempest would be better in outnumbered fights, but I think I managed to built an effective allrounder here.

Quick Edit: the mentioned buff food is absolutely crucial to the build; as of yet I havent found any alternative; so make sure you don’t run out of it.
