Guild Wars 2

Hi All,

Due to not having internet for the past 20 days I have been forced to try and theory-craft a new build for my up and coming Ele. My current characters are Warrior which is way too easy and Ranger which pretty much explains itself.

The main goal of the build is to survive an enemy zerg if caught out and be able to have mobility to jump in and out of the zerg for water fields/fire/statics and also drop a bit of damage to keep myself happy.

I also am looking at being able to at least have a chance in 1v1 by switching to daggers or another combination.

After going through nearly every single combination of armour/traits I have finally hopefully rested on this.

• Celestial armour is not in my sights due to availability.
• I run on a T1 server so running Zerker is definitely not viable.

I kind of like this build. You are pretty much immune to conditions to an almost overkill degree, so you can forgo vitality entirely in favor of other stats. Looks very interesting.

If you don’t mind, update the thread on how the build works out for you.

Honestly if you are looking to Zerg Frontline there is no where near enough vitality to keep you alive(condimelt). Yes you had DS but with only 12k vitality that’s only a 1.2k hit for 90% which is very easy for most other zergs to hit fairly quickly. Yes you have very good healing power and your damage is not bad at all, but to frontline I would remove all the zerker pieces and swap them for Pvt pieces to keep some dmg, but get a lot more survivibility. That wouldn’t be a bad build for backline even though most of the time if your back there they want you full DPS. So yea that is my only criticism. Once again more vitality.
