Heya fellow eles

I’m a staff addict in WvW for a little while now, been playing in pug and guild groups. But I wanted to change, and since eotm I roam a bit with friends or solo in D/D. Problem: I die in 2sec against thieves because my gear is bad (it’s mostly zerk-since I position myself well in zerg fights). I wanted to try new gear for a long time but I don’t have a lot of gold / karma / badges, sooo…

What’s the recommended or simply your favorite roaming gear ? Why ? Can you solo with it ?

Somebody already told me full celestial was the best right now, but I don’t want to commit to this gear given the future patch…

Most people — including myself — don’t hand out our gear compositions.

Move for a decent bit of power, lower precision, higher crit dmg and good toughness.

Regardless every person plays different. For example my gear is more for allowing me to handle great numbers of people against me.

Celestial is good for dd roaming, but no full only, armor and weapons, not trinkets, you get most from zerk trinkets. But how good it will be after patch no one know.

I like 3 knights/3 soldiers and in a particular armor slot. gloves, shoulders and boots are knights. helm, chest and leggings are soldiers.

My favorite is a mix of soldier, zerker, valkirie, cavelier, and knight (celestial used to be part of this but with time I started hating it). These 5 gear choices are my favorite because it balance out the stats I focus on with whatever burst non-glassy build I execute.

I am using Celestial with a mix of Cavalier/Berserker trinkets.I thought that going a bit glassy is the way to go but recent duels with people more skilled than me taught me that i have to be tanky and try to win with patience while keeping myself up.

Celestial/Cavalier/zerk with fire elemental dish out mad dmg but without stacks and guard buffs its weaker than other armor combos.
