What runes do most people run with while zerging? My build is all soldiers and 0 20 0 30 20!

Just for zerg? pugs? staff? i d probably go for mix of runes for max boon duration, or maybe soldier runes

If you were in anyway confused about the specificity of my post, what I meant was what runes ( the little spheres you infuse armor with) do most people use whilst playing the elementalist class and whilst in a zerg with pugs in WvW…. ( I was looking for some suggestions like the first guy gave which I am thankful for)

Boon duration with soldiers armor is good, grab some precision with eagle, ruby orbs are great in soldier armor, divinity if cost isn’t a issue, traveler.

If I was 20 air in full soldiers, I would probably go divinity, orbs, eagle in that order.

There is no point running boon duration in zergs if you opt for maximum dmg.(Unless you are new to the proffesion ofc).
I would go for scholar if i knew the pain train is usualy strong or 3 traveler/3 Divinity or the cheap solution,ruby orbs.Celestial armor is also a lot better than soldiers.

With celestial armor, you’re going to be a little bit more tanky than a zerker-build and hit like a wet noodle, while your few conditions tick low enough that nobody will bother with cleansing unless you’ve got high stacks on them. With soldiers you will hit for a solid amount and are quite tanky.

Also, why would someone use divinity runes in a full soldier build (even with 20 in air)? That would be a total waste of gold imo. Ruby orbs would be so much better in this case. Or soldier crests. Or even boon duration runes, or lifesteal runes… many things would be better.

Use boon duration runes if you switch weapons a lot and also run solo/small team. Use damaging runes/gems if you only run in the zerg and don’t get damaged that often (as a general rule of thumb: the less damage you take, the more offensive your gear and build should be – Ele can be a very good AoE damage dealer when specced offensively).

On a side note: Just like the others said, it is very hard to recommend anything because we don’t how how you play, how much damage you take, how often you go down, how good your positioning and combat overview is, how good your allies/enemies are, if you are in a guild that does WvW raids…

Full berserker might mean a boost to your dmg but you are a rally bot.What good is if you can down 10 people and get stomped afterwards within seconds?
Celestial gives decent healing support for group and yourself, a good amount of toughness and lots of critical dmg.Its very friendly for all kinds of lvl of players.

I daresay that with a mix of zerker and soldier, you will have a higher overall dps and be tankier than with celestial gear. Also, the only build where I can see healing power having any benefit to survivability is a D/D build. A mix of zerker and valk might also work out, though it would be a bit more squishy due to lacking toughness.

20/30/0/10/10 full zerk. Make them hurt.

How good are you at surviving?

Could be anything from full zerk to classic bunker.
