ok i need help about what stat to take into my elementalist for ascended armor i can play d/d s/d or staff but i like d/d + it will get a fairly good boost upcoming changes(extra evade and blast finisher) my dream stat and really suitable for me is POWER precision vitality which is sadly currently not available yet. because being power main + prec it will give good damage and crit chance which is essential to me/my build and vitality being personal preference because we have such low hp and toughness being useless vs conditions which is popular right now. But at the mean time there are choices available but i can’t choose
Berserker- no defense
Knight- power being minor stat and i don’t really like toughness since conditions are popular
Valkyrie+Serker?- don’t really like to choose between vit and prec because i need them both + crit damage being nerfed
Soldier – i need precision but its not bad i just don’t want to live without vigor
Zealot – really close and good but it only shines on guardian and other build but in my build it will only boost if im on water or using signet passive, but i really value vitality + scaling are bad
Celestial – probably best pic imo i’ll benefit with all stats being ele. downside is not enough power but can be solve by bloodlust + might

with all the nefs eles are now don’t deserve to have such low hp + light armor lack of base hp and lack of armor stat variation are the reason eles being left out
yes eles are left out to the point that i can delete mine now because other professions are better but i can’t since my ele was my 1st toon

Well it really depends what you wanna accomplish in WvW and what build you wanna run.
Personally i dont have a huge problem with conditions, but i agree that we have to invest alot into defensive stats to be viable, unless you wanna do some gimmicky s/x build that can kill everything in 5 seconds if all the stars align

Ahh the excuses of low hp and armor to perform poorly with this profession never stops.

it works well for me, but like mohagi said it depends on what you’re looking to accomplish and what you’re comfortable with. their build, my build or someone elses build may not suit your playstyle, etc.

you could run 0/10/0/30/30 or 0/0/20/20/30 or 0/0/10/30/30. Changes to celestial are being made so if that was in your top picks for statistic distribution I would wait until these changes are in game before you invest your money and materials into it. good luck

thanks for advice mohagi and jonwar likewise i run 0/10/10/20/30 too and seeing both of your gear looks like i need a lot of test to know how much i need to sacrifice damage to defensive stat vice versa. need to wait till the changes to decide or hope them to release Power prec vit stats
