- You’ve 1 shot a warrior with magnetic aura vs his own kill shot.
- You’ve used armor of earth and mist form trying to get uninterrupted stomps, only to get owned by someone else coming to their aid while you’re out of cds.
- You’ve RTL’d into a tiny object in front of you, and didn’t move.
- You’ve RTL’d while immobilized, and didn’t move.
- You RTL’d, armor of earthed, mistformed, and lightning flashed to get out of roots, and none of those worked.
- You got stuck in a WIDE VARIETY of objects because of lightning flash exclusively.

… used RTL on a critter which gets killed by some random guy while you’re flying to the critter… then wondered which to be mad at – the 40s cd or the person that killed the critter.

I decided to lightning strike a critter i think for daily, and right after i killed it ele using rtl landed on its spot and i was like “oops”

Imagine that but with 2 eles and 2 grounded Frost Bows / Flaming Greatswords

You have used Gale (focus air 5) on a critter to only see “Immune” and thought, wow that critter can withstand the power of air better then a Charr Warrior

Spamming lightning whip for no reason at all…just can’t get enough of its animation

Using Updraft / RTL/ Burning Speed / LF / Frost and Shocking Aura when moving across the map then immediately encounter an enemy while all of it are on CD

Receiving conditions after attuning out of Water and 9 seconds suddenly takes forever

Evasive Arcana actually means Water Dodge Heal and nothing else

When using Mistform to avoid damage, enemies mistake it for downed state Vapor Form, so they all focus fire to tag you

RTL then rubberband a few steps behind

Hitting someone with Churning Earth, start feeling good, then you realize it was actually a bunker Guardian

when the commander shouts for static field, you’re 1 of 2 staff eles nearby to throw down the field. everyone blasts and rolls on.

every single guardian has a staff for swiftness, enough for everyone to keep up, making the stacking for static useless.

about to engage enemy zerg, your hard cc is on cd.

you know you’re an ele when you hide behind npcs near your tower and mistform back into the tower with downed skill 2 after you get smashed in a 1 v 1 (+ npcs).

you know you’re an ele when you spam all your weapon skills mindlessly and rotate out of the atunement when you run out of cds there. then you kite around in circles healing and pop arcane shield/mistform/stability+protection. then you come to the forums and complain that ele’s do twice the amount of work that other classes do.

I haven’t

realized that anet will never fix ele.

- RTL’ed an enemy in WvW who is teleported the base in mid RTL and the RTL has changed direction towards their base which is far far distant.

- Put your DD into bank after RTL nerf.

- Has another class for sPvP.

- Doesnt even care which elite you have.

- Misses old Mistform and RTL where none of your skills are locked and the lightning were moving in more natural way(lessser effected by gravity).

- Thinks Tornado is usefull in WvW and dare to use.

Kicking kitten and smiling as an elementalist only to sadly realize was a dream and forcing yourself to wake up from it.

Used magnetic grasp (leap part) in the clock tower point on a foe who jumped down and got slung back and forth for 5 seconds unable to do anything else other then teleport.

This one everyone has probably done:
Played another character, started a move in 1 weapon set, changed weapons during and wondered why the skill was cancelled.

Rerolled as another class and wondered why everything is exponentially easier but came back to ele anyway because it’s still the most fun class to play and you’re a masochist.

I got downed near one of the bridges in WvW, i went mist form jump over the bridge – sure i died but i was going to die anyway but the other person followed me, died and i got credit for the kill lol

I used the tornado on hills in WvW at the bridge and mocked 15 people off before I died

Brought an entire zerg in sPvP to an end, pretty much instantly, with a lightning flash arcane wave + churning earth in the clocktower at Khylo.

What did Arcane Blast offer in that situation?

When running both arcanes + LF as utils, I use the Arcane Lightning trait, so I gain 10% more crit damage for the churning earth in addition to adding another chunk of AoE damage to anyone around me.

That combined with the fury for switching attunements putting me at 69% crit rate is pretty deadly.

Positioned myself by the vista in the blue-keep as it was being flipped. Proceeded to Lightning hammer and tornado challengers to the ground in droves until they gave up.

What did Arcane Blast offer in that situation?

He said arcane wave. And probably immobilize

-Instantly killed an unsuspecting thief with Fire 3,5 arcane blast+wave, lightning from air 15 minor trait. (D/D)
-RTL to a target to find out you forgot to target it makes me look bad
-RTL while immobilized
-Swapped into the wrong attunements and be useless for 5 seconds.
-RTL into a zerg and toranado’d to look cool. Died instantly.
