Zephyrs Boon
four auras
1) Shocking Aura: A3 (dagger)
2) Frost Aura: W4 (dagger)
3) Fire Aura: deploy fire field, select a target, switch to earth and quickly use Magnetic Grasp (dagger)
4) Magnetic Aura (E3, staff). Note: you can obtain this effect also equipping a full set of Superior Rune of the Earth
hope this help
edit: ooops, forgot about swiftness. Assuming you’re using D/D, there are infinite ways to get perma swiftness. For example: start in Water attunement (so you won’t waste 10% speed bonus for staying attuned to Air) and use Frost Aura, then switch to Air and use updraft (A5) followed by Shocking Aura (A3) – this small sequence will grant you more than one minute swiftness, which will allow you to repeat the sequence before the swiftness boon runs out therefore blessing you with perma swiftness.

I just traited Zephyrs Boon so I will try it. Doesn’t mean I understand how it works though …which kinda drives me crazy
3) Fire Aura: deploy fire field, select a target, switch to earth and quickly use Magnetic Grasp (dagger)
They unfortunately “fixed” that a few patches ago, and that fire aura no longer triggers the on-aura traits. Unless they changed it back, and I totally haven’t noticed.

Personally, I only found some problem triggering Fire Aura before the last patch (it failed most of times, but still triggered at times): now it’s working beautifully and am having no troubles at all

I just tested it, and while other sources might be working fine, the Fire+Leap combo is still broken. It gives the aura but doesn’t grant fury or swiftness.

I’ve tested numerous times but it doesn’t work, you don’t get any of the Aura bonuses with that combo. Also Magnetic Grasp continues to be a joke, rarely hitting anything but stationary targets.

People use it combined with runes and +boon duration food. I’m not 100% sure which runes, but I believe Rune of Water is one of them.

You’re forgetting the focus, which has Fire Aura on it as a regular skill.
2 x Superior Runes of the Water (15% Boon Duration) Crafted / TP
2 x Superior Runes of the Monk (15% Boon Duration) From Ascalonian Catacombs
2 x Major Runes of Sanctuary (+10% Boon Duration) From Hotw (Major not Superior)
20 points in Fire for IX Fire’s Embrace — when you activate a signet, you gain a fire shield for 3 seconds — proc’s Zephyr’s Boon.
Alternatively, without using Zephyr’s Boon, 20 points in Air for VIII Inscription —grants a boon associated with your current attunement when you cast a glyph -- doubles the duration of the swiftness boon of Glyph of Elemental Harmony.
If you also have either III Quick Glyphs — glyphs recharge 20% faster — or +30% boon duration (from 30 points in Arcane or from runes) then the swiftness last longer than the recast of the heal glyph.
[edit: You can use Zephyr’s Boon and Inscription and some +boon duration stuff to get perma swiftness also of course]

Use elemental attunement as well. With 20 arcana, switching to air=6sec. Assuming you spend about 4 seconds in air attune, that’s 6/15. Using shocking aura will give 12sec swiftness, so 12/25. Frost aura gives 6 sec, so 6/40. 6/40+6/15+12/25= 1.03, so its perma

As of this morning, the fire aura from fire field + D3 does not trigger on-aura traits.

It does it is just really buggy. It might take 20 tries but it will eventually trigger.

Great, now they’ll never fix it.
The auras alone won’t give you perma swiftness but switching to air attunement gives enough to fill in the gaps.
Switch to air (swiftness)
Dagger #3 (swiftness)
Switch to water
dagger #4 (swiftness).
Switch to air when it’s off cooldown (swiftness)
Switch out of it asap so you can switch back sooner.
and so on, using air #3 and water #4 as they come off cooldown.
When you get a good amount of boon duration it’s trivial and you can easily maintain 100% swiftness while still using ride the lightning on cooldown.
Staff doesn’t take as much advantage of zephyr’s boon, but you can perma swift yourself there too in similar fashion.
Switch to air (swiftness)
Air #4 (swiftness)
Switch to earth
Earth #3 (swiftness)
Back to air when it’s off cooldown (swiftness), then switch out.
Back to air etc, using Air #4 and Earth #3 as they come off cooldown.
Lots of points in arcane is the main thing really. Besides elemental attunement which is a given at 10 in arcane, arcane not only gives you boon duration, but the lowered attunement cooldown means you get to switch to air more often and thus add more swiftness again.

The auras alone will give you permanent swiftness if you use Fire’s Embrace and Signets. If you use D/D which normally has 3 more auras (but now one combo is broken) or with 2×Sup Rune of the Monk, 2× Sup Rune of the Water and 2× Major Rune of Sanctuary you don’t even need that many signets to keep it up. Not a single point in Arcana is needed for permanent swiftness, but ofcourse it helps.
