arcane wave or anouther stun breaker
As a d/d ele I use both armor of earth and arcane wave. If I was on scepter I would probably go for the arcane wave, since I won’t be in range to get hit by as many stuns.
DD ele using Cleansing Fire, Mist Form and Arcane Wave.

Agree with ZaneStriker, you can switch around Arcane Wave a bit depending on solo, group ect.
Also 10 trait in earth gets you armor of earth auto at 50% health, hate me for it but I think traiting heavy arcane is overated, if you have to switch THAT much your DPS probably is what you should be looking at…
I love Armour of Earth at 50%. Life saver. I mostly use Arcane Wave with Ring of Fire for the +3 might and the damage is nice.

As a D/D in pvp I generally use Arcane Shield, Armor of Earth and Lightning Flash. The more survivability I have the longer I get to beat up people. Works very well for me. I use both the defensive traits that give Armor of Earth at 50% and Arcane shield at 25%. I’m a hard clothy to take down haha.

In PvE open world (S/D), I tend to run Glyph of Storms, Lightning Flash, and Arcane Wave. Glyph of Storms for the amazing blindness storm in earth; Lightning Flash as a stun breaker and to better position Churning Earth, and Arcane Wave as an extra might stacker (and quick enemy tagger for events).
I can Arcane Wave out for either more condition removal (Cleansing Fire), another stun breaker (Armor of Earth or Mist Form), or Arcane Shield if necessary, but that is less needed in the open world.
I also use the auto-Armor of Earth trait, which is definitely a lifesaver.
Dungeons I tend to run Glyph of Storms (blindness is still good there), Mist Form or Armor of Earth, and Glyph of Renewal. In dungeons without cheap tricks, Arcane Shield instead of Glyph of Renewal.
Didn’t state if this was Pve or PvP / W3. It’s a big difference.
